Leadership Communication Case Study Analysis Communication is an essential skill for effective leadership that numerous people possess but might not know how to use correctly and fully. Leaders of today can put in effect new techniques, such as transformational leadership, and see how they bring changes in their staff and their work. The diversity in the staff of today’s workplace calls for a change in the way we communicate and the way leaders get along with staff and how staff see’s their leaders. Leaders need to keep in mind that being a good listener, directing their staff correctly, and ensuring that communication is open are things that are imperative in maintaining a decent work environment and establishing effective leadership. In the case of Ben Williams, the CEO of a public relations firm in our case study, he is lacking diversity in his communication skills. I appreciate the fact that he has recognized that his lack of appropriate leadership, and change are what has slowed progress and stumped communica tion within his firm. Williams would greatly benefit from taking a course in effective leadership communication skills. He could even just broaden his knowledge by doing some research on the subject. In this case I have done the research and have provided examples of how he can improve the communication from the top down and how he can bring forth changes in order for him to be a superior leader.
